Want to see where it all started, when I wrote songs about feeling sorry for myself?
The oldest of these songs I wrote when I was just 14, and absolutely dying of
melodrama and self-pity. I thought happiness was all about nding that one special
person to erase all my loneliness and live happily ever after - not yet seeing that
the promised land is always right here, right now. This is the music that won me
the monetary award of $2200 at the international Iceland Airwaves music festival in
2019, among other accolades. So apparently it’s really good, for being written by a
teenager!
